Here’s a selection of sketches from BBC Two 2000 sketch show Bruiser.

If you need to see the value of sketch shows, just look at the number of careers that this show helped develop, both in front of, and behind the camera.

But that’s not why we’re here.

Does anyone know who wrote the IT Guy sketches? I’m presuming it was Matthew Holness himself, but it clearly made an impression on fellow writer Ricky Gervais, because you’ll recognise this from The Office.
