More No Soap, Radio

Yesterday we discovered No Soap, Radio the Steve Guttenberg sitcom from 1982. Let’s have a look at a bit more of it, starting with the opening credits.

Such a bland and boring choice for a show that is far from that. I suppose the rollercoaster idea is linked to the city’s setting, and maybe it suggests the show is a rollercoaster ride, but these really don’t sell the idea at all.

The inspiration for this one is obvious, but it’s still good, and the President joke is a doozy.

And this one is great too.

I’m off to try and find the full shows, and hope beyond hope they are all this good.
