Bakersfield PD was a short-lived US sitcom that aired from September 1993 to August 1994. Created by Larry Levin, it starred Ron Eldard, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), and Bill Murray’s older brother Brian Doyle-Murray.

Bakersfield PD was a cut above the norm, and was in style far removed from traditional sitcom, but its well-rounded characters, loose but effective plots and sharp dialogue guaranteed plenty of whimsical smiles as well as the odd belly laugh.
