What do you do when a hapless cop keeps getting his partners critically injured? You give him a top secret android partner, obviously, and watch the hilarity unfold.

That’s the basic premise of Holmes & Yoyo, a 1976 ABC sitcom, starring Richard B. Schull and John Schuck. Created by Jack Sheer & Lee Hewitt, it even boasted a few episodes directed by Gomez from The Addams Family.

From all accounts it was a flop, lasting only 13 episodes (better than some shows), and popping up on various Worst Of lists ever since. Still, it exists, it’s on YouTube, and you can watch some of it if you fancy.
