A Bit Of Back Matter

I’m amazed it took me so long to buy the script books for A Bit Of Fry and Laurie, but there it is. The first one has the tagline ‘raw, trembling, naked sketches from their first BBC TV series’.

The back cover is rather lovely. It’s got hand-scrawled notes about the design. Signed by S.F., one note reads ‘not quite aligned properly? Text needs shifting 2 or 3 inches to the left.’ And sure enough, the whole back matter is wrongly aligned, missing out much of the text.

Hugh’s note is regards the price above the barcode. ‘Bit cheap isn’t it? How about £29.99 – it’s got a nice sort of ring to it.’

Enjoy the rest of it.
