Comedy Is … On Apple Podcasts

It’s taken some time, mostly due to technical matters beyond my ken and control, but Comedy Is … is now available on Apple Podcasts (and presumably iTunes, I am a bit behind on how it all works over on the Macs these days).

Here’s the link for Apple Podcasts.

If you haven’t heard it, Comedy Is … uses the schedule of The Paramount Comedy Channel circa 1998, as a springboard for a nostalgic dive into the history and social context of sitcoms. So far episodes have included a look at the effect Absolutely Fabulous had on US sitcoms, an exploration of topical comedy through the years and what effect the Suez Crisis had on it all, the toxicity of laddism, and many more things beside.

The first episode can be found here.
