The Fast Red Fun Smell Show

On this day in 1996, Fargo was released in cinemas. On this day in 1987, NBC aired the last ever episode of The A-Team. But also, on this day in ’96, as it was a Friday, you could have watched BBC Two all night, and had a great time.

At 9pm, The Fast Show was on, with the fourth (Quart) episode of series two. And it opened just like this.

Red Dwarf was next, with the return of the Polymorph, in Emohawk. You wouldn’t have seen this scene at the time though.

Then, on Fist Of Fun, Rod Hull was the celebrity guest for their lottery. Here’s a clip from a different show though.

After Newsnight, you could have sniffed a repeat of The Smell Of Reeves & Mortimer.

Before finally, seeing in the next day with The All New Alexei Sayle Show.
