Craig Ferguson’s Pilot

With thanks to @whydontyoutube, here’s the full pilot episode of Granada’s The Craig Ferguson Show, which aired 30 years ago. It features Helen Atkinson-Wood, Paul Whitehouse, and Charlie Higson.

Here’s Craig as his early career alter-ego at the Montreal Festival in 1987.

And this is a clip from The Dirt Detective, an STV show from 1993.

That same year, he made The Ferguson Theory for BBC Two.

Have a look at a trailer for it too.

Soon after that, he moved to the US, and landed a role in the short-lived sitcom Maybe This Time, alongside Betty White.

Finally, here’s a clip from his next show The Drew Carey Show.
