Movie Stars In Japanese Adverts

There was a time when movie stars were too big of a deal to star in lowly adverts. Which meant a lot of income could be lost. This fact helped persuade Japanese companies to attract these movie stars with big pay packets, at a time when the audience back in the US would never see these adverts.

Here’s a collection of Arnold’s ads.

I think I understand the jist of this one with Stallone, but it’s some odd imagery for a commercial to be using.

And these are just sappy and odd.

Seems apt for a man with two last names to be flogging some lager beer.
