A Couple Of Boxing Day Specials

You don’t really associate Boxing Day with specials, but by design, there must be plenty of them out there. Take this one for example, which is Dave Allen’s special from Boxing Day in 1984, and opens with a remarkable sketch.


The show was written by Dave Allen and Peter Vincent.

After Ronnie Barker retired, Auntie Beeb searched around for a replacement to The Two Ronnies, and came up with the idea of pairing Corbett with Bruse Forsyth. So, on Boxing Day in 1988, we met Bruce And Ronnie.
