1984

I’ve been trying to find footage of Bill Owen, Peter Sallis, and Brian Wilde at the 1984 Royal Variety Performance. I assume they were in character as Compo, Clegg, and Foggy. Alas, I cannot find any.

Here’s the first 45 minutes of the show though, and it cuts off before we find out who Dustin Gee is about to do an impression of.

I’ve only skimmed it, but we warned, Saville turns up for a bit at the start.

I did enjoy a lot of Keith Harris’ set though, but the very end freaked me out somewhat.
