Video Arts was founded in 1972 by Anthony Jay and John Cleese with the intention of making funny and informative corporate training videos. According to Michael Palin’s diaries, Cleese became a bit of a bore about it all, but the company managed to cast almost every single big name comedy star you can think of to appear in these things.
