Sitcom Advent Calendar Day Fourteen

If nothing else, watch the opening titles behind door number fourteen today. Beautifully animated, with a theme song performed by Bob Monkhouse and Paul McShane, it sets the tone perfectly for You Rang M’Lord?.

Written by Perry & Croft after Hi-De-Hi had come to an end, and starring many of the same ensemble, the show ran from 1990 to 1993, and had an extended running time of fifty minutes. It also featured serialised plots.

The opening sequence displays some amazing production values for a studio sitcom.
