Is This The Movie Trailer That Changed Movie Trailers?

This trailer for the first Mission: Impossible film has really stuck with me through the years. It felt different from other trailers around that time, and was of course aided by the music.

This is how many other trailers were around that time – with the voice-over guy that is still referenced in spoof trailers (even though we’ve not heard that for decades now).

So, who made this Mission: Impossible trailer, and am I right to think that it had a big impact on how trailers were put together afterwards?
