I thought we’d all enjoy looking at a couple of the very earliest newspaper mentions of Only Fools And Horses. So let’s start with this one, from the Acton Gazette on the 28th May 1981, which features a behind the scenes photo of the location shoot.

The estate scenes would be filmed in Bristol for later series.

This next one continues to describe Del as work-shy, which is wrong surely? He works really hard doesn’t he? Isn’t he the fool of the title?
