Five Alive Or 5 Alive

This is one of those shows with a title that rings a bell, and makes me think I probably watched it at the time. But I don’t really have any memory of it, other than the title. And I’m fairly sure I’m not misremembering the drink.

Five Alive was a TVS production that ran for two series in 1987 and 1989. It marked the TV debut of Doon Mackichan, and an early appearance from Brian Conley. It boasted an array of writers, such as Geoff Atkinson and James Hendrie and Ian Brown. For the second series, Phil Nice replaced Harry Secombe’s son Andrew.

It’s not this.

Yes, that is Rik Mayall.
