Double Deckers Used To Have Raisins

There are a lot of consipracy theories surrounding chocolate bars. Dairy Milks aren’t as good as they used to be because of the new recipe. Mars Bars are softer since they wanted to expand their market to women. Star Bars shot JFK.

I don’t know about any of that, but yesterday I found out that Double Deckers used to have raisins in them.

Yeah, you heard that jingle right.

But when this campaign was revived years later, the raisins were gone.

This is a change that happened in my life time. Some time in the mid 1980s, they stopped putting raisins in the base because consumer surveys told them to. I never noticed this change. Did you?
