Rich Tea And Sympathy

I just made a Cherry Cake because I saw so many of them on my re-watch of You Rang M’Lord?. It got me thinking, because that series can’t have been the only sitcom to have been expanded to fill an hour slot. Certainly, Only Fools And Horses went that way too. And over on ITV, around that time, David Nobbs was given more time to explore his ideas in Rich Tea And Sympathy.

This was after his previous show, A Bit Of A Do, which was also given the whole hour.
