Harrison Ford’s Workshop

I found myself wondering this morning, having learned it was Harrison Ford’s birthday, whether or not he still does carpentry. While I can’t be sure he still does (I expect he does), at least in 1984, he was still doing it, and here are some photos of his workshop.

Here he is at his drill press, using it as a sander to shape some intricate work.

This is his jointer and thicknesser combo. I can’t tell if the thicknesser is a sanding drum one, or a spinning cutting head one.

Here’s a wider shot of his shop, which is very neatly laid out and full of all sorts of tools I covet.

Here he demonstrates his absolutely massive Powermatic table saw.

And here he is in his pants holding a bit of wood.
