There are a few lesser known Esmonde & Larbey sitcoms, including Feet First, which was a Thames production that aired at the beginning of 1979. They made seven episodes, but only six made it to air.

While this one was about Terry Prince, coincidentally, in 1997, A Prince Among Men was about the footballer Gary Prince. It starred Chris Barrie, and was written by Tony Millan and Mike Walling.

In 1988, Alexei Sayle starred in the Radio Four sitcom Lenin Of The Rovers, written by Marcus Berkmann, and produced by Harry Thompson.
