Smith And Jones At Live Aid

I was a little too young to enjoy Live Aid when it happened. But I remember it being a nice sunny day, and my sister playing it on the radio and TV, and hearing lots of it through the windows.

So you’ll forgive me for not knowing that Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones appeared on stage in London, to do a rather good bit. Comedy never works at music events, but I think they did well here. You might want to stick around for the band afterwards.
