Continuity Of The Summer Wine

One of the things I love most about the long run of Last Of The Summer Wine, is just how many shows it shared the screen with over the years. A quick look at some snippets of continuity highlights that fact nicely.

In Christmas 1988, after an episode of Bob’s Full House (love that show), we get a glimpse of the upcoming Special from Holmfirth.

Nice to see a little plug for ‘Allo ‘Allo too.

This one, for New Year in 1986, is very quiet, but still fun to watch.

The feature length special is followed by Rocky II. Excellent.

And here, just before an episode from 1992, we get a glimpse of something upcoming.

Turns out Gordon Brittas isn’t dead at all.
