Here’s an interesting page from The Stage, dated 16th May 1985, featuring and interview with Colin Gilbert, who was then the head of BBC Scotland’s Comedy Unit. He had recently produced A Kick Up The Eighties, and Laugh??? I Nearly Paid My Licence Fee.
