Mars Celebrations

I would have bet money that Mars Celebrations were released the same year as Cadbury’s Heroes, in a pitched battle to steal the sales from under the noses of those Quality Street folk. Turns out though, that Mars released their boxed sets in 1997, a full two years before Cadbury’s unleashed theirs.

Of the two, Celebrations seems the most homogenous across the world, with most territories using the same seven or eight brands. Outside of the UK, the Galaxy becomes the Dove, and the Malteaser doesn’t make the US box. You’d be right in thinking there used to be a Topic, but in 2006, it was swapped out with the Twix.
