I Could Do With An Oo

For several days now I’ve had an advertising jingle stuck in my head. It’s been stuck in there ever since I saw the advert that featured the jingle, and it’s getting on my nerves.

Except that’s not true.

Because no matter how much I search, I cannot find said advert.

I could do with an oo.

In my mind, this ad features people at home singing the jingle, and then saying Typhoo. Except it doesn’t exist. My brain is an idiot.

Even though I’m convinced I saw this thing only a few days ago.

It’s likely that I am conflating a few different things here.

First, this one for Brooke Bond D.

Yep, that’s Boycie from Only Fools And Horses assaulting his staff there.

Second, this one with Su Pollard.

And maybe also this one with Frankie Howerd.

Whilst looking for this non-existent advert, I stumbled across this one, which is barely a single entendre, let alone a double one.
