The David Steinberg Show

Here’s a sketch from The David Steinberg Show. It takes a turn for the better half way through.

This show actually had two iterations. The first had a five week run on CBS in 1972, and was an hour long variety format.

In 1976, the show became a half hour sketch show within a sitcom, made for Canadian TV and synicated in the US. It featured many of the faces that were also starring in SCTV, including John Candy and Martin Short.

This second iteration ran for 26 episodes, most of which, happily, can be found on Amazon.
