Sitcom Advent Calendar Day Seventeen

Keeping Mum is the first UK sitcom to be adapted from an Australian show (Mother And Son). It was also the first British all-digital, widescreen studio sitcom.

Written by the creator of the original Australian show, it starred Stephanie Cole and ran for two series of six episodes between 1997 and 1998. It was roundly criticised for its depiction of Alzheimer’s.
