Let’s have a look at some adverts fronted by the cast of Hi-De-Hi. This one, for Wispa, we’ve seen before, and is probably one of the more memorable ones from the bunch.

But Ruth Madoc also did this one for Walkers in 1987.

And this one, in Welsh, for the Cheese Council of Wales.

Here’s a rather more rare one with Simon Cadell and an upstart Angus Deayton.

Of all the main cast, it seems that Paul Shane did the fewest ads*, and I can only find this one for Royal Insurance alongside Ron Atkinson and Howard Lew Lewis.

Su Pollard though, did loads.

*Jeffrey Holland has done no adverts, as far as I can tell.
